The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is not issuing a specific travel advisory for Iceland at this time.
New Zealanders travelling or living in Iceland should have comprehensive medical and travel insurance policies in place that include provision for medical evacuation by air.
The Schengen area is a group of 29 European countries with common border rule. Once you have entered the Schengen area, you can travel freely between Schengen area countries without going through border controls.
