Crime
Petty crime such as bag snatching and pickpocketing occurs in Switzerland with reports increasing, especially in larger cities, in tourist areas, at airports and on public transport. Petty crime mainly occurs at railway stations and on trains. Thieves often work together and may distract victims and rob them while their attention is diverted.

Civil unrest
