• Crime - petty crime such as pickpocketing is common in larger cities, tourist areas and on public transport. There have been instances of food and drink spiking.
• Civil unrest - demonstrations occur frequently in Hungary, primarily in Budapest, and may disrupt local public services and transport.
• Terrorism - monitor the media and other local information sources to keep informed of potential risks to safety and security.
