Road safety—check the safety of vehicles you rent or get a ride in, and helmets or other safety equipment. Be prepared for chaotic driving conditions on poor roads.
Crime – watch out for petty crime such as theft, especially in busy public areas and on public transport.
Scams—pre-book airport transfers, or make sure you’re taking a legitimate taxi.
